Board
The Board of Aalto Cocktail is responsible for all the activities of the Association and its development, as well as the coordination of our Active Members. The Board ensures that Aalto Cocktail is, and will continue to be, Aalto University's most influential hobby club, which brings cocktail culture into student life.

Responsibilities of the Board
CHAIR
Leads the Board and sets the agenda.
Legally responsible for the Club.
Handles the bureaucracy and communicates with other local and external parties.
Answers to a lot of incoming Telegram messages.
Responsible for the limited corporation (Aalto Cocktail Services Oy).
VICE-CHAIR
Assists the Chair.
Secretary at meetings.
Should be able to take over for the Chair duties if needed.
A more fluid position, can adjust to help other Board Members.
TREASURER
Creates the yearly budget with the Chair.
Does the bookkeeping and financial statements.
Makes sure people and bills are paid on time.
Communicates with the other Board Members that interact with money.
Can be a remote position.
MARKETING OFFICER
Designs the marketing materials for monthly workshops, occasional additional events, and the Clubroom rental business.
Publishes marketing materials to all of the relevant channels.
Communicates with other Board Members about their marketing needs.
Can be a remote position.
BARMASTER (2)
Plans and organizes the Club's paid events, like workshops.
Has enough knowledge about cocktails to kickstart the menu planning.
Communicates with other Board Members about procurement and costs.
Presents at events and communicates with the participants.
Communicates with Active Members to plan events.
Organizes lab nights to test and come up with cocktails.
Is reliable, and can delegate work at events.
CLUBROOM OFFICER
Makes sure that the Clubroom is kept in good condition, does or organized weekly checkups.
Communicates with the other Board Members that manage the Clubroom usage schedule.
Helps plan and organize Clubroom renovations.
Handles logistics for the Club.
SALES OFFICER (2)
Communicates with potential customers about renting the Clubroom.
Organizes the cleaning of the Clubroom for renters.
Is reliable, and can cope with customer service.
Can be a remote position.
GIGS OFFICER
Communicates with potential customers interested in hiring the Club for private bartending and workshop services.
Communicates with other Board Members about the Clubroom usage, billing, and cocktail recipes.
Plans the gigs and delegates the work to Actives.
Is reliable, and can cope with customer service.
Can be a remote position.
COMMUNITY OFFICER (2)
Organizes monthly Members' Nights.
Helps organize checkpoints, info events, and other public student events.
Is the Board's eyes to the community, and helps recruit new Active Members from membership.
Leads the planning for updates to community standards.
Is reliable, and can delegate work.
